The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has directed that all national flags be hoisted at full mast following the state funeral of the eight public officials who died in a military helicopter crash at Sikaman in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.

This was announced in a statement signed by the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Monday, August 18, 2025.

“Further to the conclusion of the state funeral and the burial of all eight victims, the Chief of Staff directs that flags at all public buildings be restored to full mast with immediate effect. The government also expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians and the international community for the overwhelming support shown since the tragedy.
