According to reports, a gang of political party thugs broke into Nana Asante Bediatuo’s official home on Roman Ridge. President Akufo Addo’s secretary is Nana Asante Bediatuo, as you may already be aware. Nana Asante Bediatuo is now undergoing medical treatment abroad. The group had been turned away on December 27 and December 30, 2024, before the attack yesterday. After learning that Nana Asante Bediatuo was abroad, the attackers reportedly pushed their way onto the residence.
About 20 males, according to witnesses, showed up at the house ready to get inside. The criminals overwhelmed the on-duty security guards and pushed their way inside despite their best efforts to stop them. Although the cause of the incident is yet unknown, several outlets speculate that political tensions surrounding the country’s recent election may be to blame. Security officers said that the gang demanded to meet Nana Asante Bediatuo during two prior visits to the property. They were told he was out of the country and unavailable on both occasions. Their behavior yesterday, however, indicates that they chose to take matters into their own hands because they were unwilling to accept the answer.
Later, in order to restore order, the police were called to the situation. To find out who was responsible and what motivated the attack, investigations have already started. To help in the investigation, authorities are also looking over security footage. The president’s secretary and well-known attorney, Nana Asante Bediatuo, has not yet issued a public remark about the incident. According to a source from Jubilee House, he is currently receiving medical care abroad.
