Ghanaian actor Harold Amenyah has named President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo his ‘Man of the Year,’ praising how well he believes the president has handled the country.

The actor mentioned this in an interview with Joy News, where he extolled the president for navigating the country through tough global and local conditions over the past eight years.

“He’s had the toughest tenure. The last eight years have been tough globally. And for him to be able to hold a country to this far, he’s my Man of the Year,” Amenyah stated.

When asked about Ghanaians who might disagree with his choice, the actor responded, “Opinions are like noses. Everybody has an opinion.”

He continued, “I’m not faulting anybody who disagrees with me on this, but truly and really, he is my Man of the Year.”

Harold Amenyah’s comments come as the country prepares for the December 7, 2024, presidential and parliamentary elections.
