In the midst of her mother’s legal woes and 15-year jail sentence, Rihanna, the daughter of controversial televangelist Nana Agradaa, has captured the hearts of many with a stirring gospel performance at the Heaven Way Champion International Ministries.

During Sunday’s service, Rihanna was allowed to minister to the congregation through song, and she did not disappoint.

With grace and confidence, she took the stage and delivered a heartfelt rendition of “Defe Defe,” the chart-topping gospel hit by Team Eternity Ghana.

Singing with a sweet yet commanding voice, Rihanna led the congregation in worship, accompanied by a live band and backing vocalists who joined in during the chorus and key sections of the song.

The emotional atmosphere in the church was unmistakable, as the performance visibly moved worshippers.

The video of the moment, which has since gone viral on social media, shows Rihanna standing at the pulpit, eyes closed in reverence, pouring her soul into every line of the song.

Her composure and vocal prowess drew admiration from viewers online, many of whom praised her for remaining strong and spiritually anchored during a turbulent period for her family.

The performance came just days after her mother, born Patricia Asiedua and popularly known as Nana Agradaa, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with hard labour over multiple counts of fraud.

The conviction has rocked her church and sparked national conversations about religious scams and accountability in Ghana’s faith-based institutions.
