The Jomoro constituency’s MP, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has returned to Ghana after recuperating from injuries she received in a car accident in late August. When the event happened on August 29, Affo-Toffey and her entourage were returning to Accra after her campaign launch in Jomoro when it happened at the Komenda Junction on the Takoradi-Cape Coast-Accra Highway.

According to reports, Affo-Toffey’s Ford Raptor veered off the road and landed in a bush after being overtaken by a truck. Fortunately, she and her colleagues were unharmed, preventing what may have been a far more dangerous situation.

Affo-Toffey thanked everyone for their assistance during her recuperation when she returned. As she returns to her parliamentary duties, her dedication to serving the Jomoro constituency is unwavering. Her constituents, who are eager for her ongoing leadership and activism, view her homecoming as a positive development, and the community has provided her with enormous support during her recuperation.
