The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) will host the 7th edition of the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO) National Oil Companies (NOCs) CEOs Meeting in Accra from September 14 to 15, 2025.
The high-level summit will bring together top executives and decision-makers from 19 oil-producing African nations, creating a powerful platform for collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development in the continent’s petroleum sector.
In a statement sighted by GhanaWeb Business, Kwame Ntow Amoah, the acting Chief Executive Officer of GNPC, emphasized the significance of the event, noting that it reflects Ghana’s growing influence in Africa’s energy landscape.
“This summit highlights Ghana’s stature in Africa’s petroleum industry and GNPC’s commitment to advancing cooperation and innovation for the continent’s shared progress,” Amoah said.

Held alongside Africa Oil Week (AOW) 2025, the meeting places Ghana at the heart of critical conversations shaping the future of energy on the continent.
Over the course of two days, participants will explore practical solutions around shared infrastructure, local content development, technological innovation, and investment opportunities across APPO member states.
The summit is expected to deliver concrete outcomes that strengthen intra-African energy partnerships and position the continent for a more integrated and resilient energy future.
