The 2025 Africa Real Estate Conference and Expo has officially opened in Accra.

The two-day event, which commenced on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, is themed “Property Technology and Digital Transformation.”

In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb Business, the conference organiser, Jeremiah Quashie, stated that the gathering of experts aims to position Ghana as a hub for affordable housing, aligned with the standard of living of Ghanaians.

“We are working to integrate technology into various sectors of the real estate industry. This initiative goes beyond the local industry. We are also looking at the global industry to make Ghana a recognised market, where people can experience a standard of living similar to what is seen in places like Dubai and other international cities,” he said.

“Essentially, this conference is providing us with new ideas and models that we can incorporate into our industry to elevate the standard of living, particularly in the housing sector,” he added.

The conference serves as a platform for industry players to explore and capitalise on emerging opportunities in the region’s real estate sector.

It brings together industry professionals, investors, entrepreneurs, technology providers, and policymakers to exchange ideas, showcase innovative technologies, discuss market trends, and foster collaborations.

The event also brings to bear the potential of African markets, attracting local and international investors eager to explore opportunities and contribute to the continent’s real estate growth.
