Ghanaian gospel musician and preacher, Sonnie Badu, has shared a message on social media following news of Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang‘s recovery from a recent illness and return to the country.

It was earlier reported that the Vice President had undergone medical treatment in the United Kingdom after falling ill on Friday, March 28, 2025.

In a recent update, she was captured seemingly healthy and in good spirits.

Reacting to this on Instagram on May 23, 2025, Sonnie Badu expressed gratitude to God for her recovery.

“Thank You, Jesus! Affliction shall not rise a second time. Mummy is back! Thank You, Jesus,” he wrote.

The ‘Baba’ hitmaker also encouraged the Vice President to prioritise her health, urging her to adopt a consistent wellness routine.

“Now, Mum, please rest as much as you can. Take your morning walks, stay on your meds, and you’ll be just fine. We missed you so much. Long live Ghana!” he added.
