The Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has facilitated the commissioning of a fully furnished dental unit at the Dr. Dzodzegbe Health Centre in Ateitu, marking a significant step toward improving access to quality oral healthcare within the constituency.

The facility was officially commissioned on his behalf by Madam Patricia Russell, Assembly Member for the Kojo Beedu North Electoral Area, together with Hon. Zubairu Kassim, Special Assistant for Constituency Affairs.

The newly installed dental unit is expected to enhance the capacity of the health centre to provide essential oral health services, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances to access specialised dental care. The intervention reflects a broader commitment to strengthening primary healthcare delivery and ensuring that communities receive timely and professional medical attention.

By equipping the Dr. Dzodzegbe Health Centre with modern dental facilities, the initiative aims to address long-standing gaps in oral healthcare services while promoting preventive and curative treatment within the local area.

The commissioning underscores continued efforts to prioritise health infrastructure development and improve the overall wellbeing of residents in Ateitu and surrounding communities.
