The head coach of Aduana FC, Yaw Acheampong, has been dismissed by the club following an unimpressive performance in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, ghanasoccernet.com reports.

The report added that assistant coach Paul Tandoh will take over and steer the affairs of the team until a substantive manager is appointed.

Coach Acheampong has come under intense scrutiny in recent times. After 12 games played in the 2024/25 season, the team has lost four, drawn six, and won just two games.

The Fire Boys, who are hoping to contend for the league title, are 13th on the league table with just 12 points.

Their recent 2-0 defeat to Kotoko has prompted the club officials to take a decision to part ways with their coach.

Acheampong took over the coaching job at Aduana FC in the 2023/2024 season, during which the team finished fifth in the Ghana Premier League.
