Broda Sammy has identified a troubling trend among many pastors, which he believes is a huge factor in driving people away from the church.

The gospel minister has noted that many pastors are stingy towards their congregants, which he sees as a major concern.

He has pointed out that these pastors are often stingy with the same congregation that consistently contributes offerings, and some churches have been collecting donations for up to 50 years without giving back to their members.

In contrast, he praised Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah as one of the few leaders who genuinely cares for his church members.

Broda Sammy commended the Believers Worship Center general overseer for his generosity, particularly in often distributing huge sums of money to congregants to help them invest in their businesses.

According to Broda Sammy, this approach is a key reason for the flourishing of Adom Kyei-Duah’s church.

“Adom Kyei-Duah’s church is thriving because he gives back. He can distribute large sums, even as much as GH¢86 billion among his church members to invest in their businesses,” he stated.

“It’s time for pastors to take care of their congregation. It has reached a point where pastors need to change their approach and stop being stingy towards their congregants. One church has been receiving offerings for the past 50 years. If we don’t change our approach to winning souls, no soul will be won,” he stated during a discussion on United Showbiz.

Broda Sammy also expressed concern for the poorer members of the congregation who continue to pay offerings despite their financial struggles.

“Many of these church members are struggling petty traders who don’t even make much profit. Some need as little as GH¢500 to survive, yet the church won’t support them,” he added.
