Security analyst Adam Bonaa has raised concerns over what he described as sudden promotions at the Economic and Organised Crime Office by the Executive Director of the anti-graft office Maame Tiwaa Addo Danquah following the defeat of the New Patriotic Party at the polls.

According to him, the Executive Director of EOCO has over the last few days appointed a new director of investigations to supervise investigations by the firm.

“As we speak are you aware that when you go to EOCO they are doing promotions there, there are promotions currently ongoing at EOCO, how can you be exiting as EOCO Boss, Maame Tiwaa, and you’re appointing director of investigations so that if the new government has to investigate anything under your tenure, you would have your own person investigating you?

“You can’t approbate and reprobate, these things must be looked into and stopped by the Mahama administration, they undermine good governance,” Bona said in an interview on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV Monday.

Bonaa has also called on President Mahama to punish ASP Jalil who assaulted a Police Officer at the Jubilee House in 2017 when the NPP won power.

“I expect the Mahama government to deal with hoodlums who took over and assaulted other people at the Jubilee house. Someone like ASP Jaliee accosted a Police officer called DSP Nanka Bruce at the Jubilee House and beat him up like an animal, went to his home also and beat him up and this happened under the purported human rights activist president and no one punished this ASP and he is still in uniform”.
