Actress Mercy Aigbe shared her experience battling an eye infection while filming her new movie.

The 46-year-old actress recounted she had to take a break from filming the movie when she woke up on the set with swollen eyes.

She was admitted to the hospital due to significant pain, and it was determined that she had a serious eye infection.

Despite the difficulties, Aigbe expressed deep appreciation for the success of her new movie.

She took to Instagram to share the images of her swollen eyes with the caption,

“Throw back to the set of THINLINE , i woke up one morning on set and my eyes were like this! We couldn’t film, we had to break set, the pain that came with this was excruciating, i was hospitalized, infact it was a whole lot challenge! Doctors said it was a severe infection.. it was a whole lot!!!!! A whole lot!!!!

It’s been an experience on this journey with THINLINE, a whole lot of challenges, a whole lot, but in all i still GIVE GOD THE GLORY 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

In all these i am still standing and will keep pushing 👊👊”

The post has triggered mixed reactions on social media with many recounting the fire outbreak that destroyed the actress’s home.
