Ahead of the Matchday 11 encounter between Accra Lions and Hearts of Lions at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, the players of both teams were forced to warm up outside the pitch due to the use of the facility for Community Games.

The games organized at the University of Ghana stadium were supposed to end early for the mouthwatering clash between the two sides in the Ghanaian top-flight league.

However, the final match ended at 5:20 pm, which meant that Accra Lions and Hearts of Lions had to use the mini-pitch behind the stadium for their warm-ups.

While the two teams were expected to be ready before the start of the game, the winners of the community games spent time celebrating, forcing a delay in the preparation of the pitch.

After that, the spectators were forced out to reinspect the tickets before fans were allowed onto the pitch.

It has become a source of concern for players and fans of the two teams regarding the condition of the pitch for the game.

Meanwhile, Accra Lions return to Accra after a trip to Anyinase last week to play Basake Holy Stars, while Hearts of Lions visit the capital after a three-game winning run.
