According to Sammy Gyamfi, the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) national communications officer, supernatural intervention was crucial to the party’s historic triumph in the 2024 elections.

In an address to Prophet Owusu Bempah and his supporters, Gyamfi said he was deeply appreciative of the clergymen and ladies who helped the NDC throughout the election campaign.

“We have the utmost gratitude for the spiritual support we received,” Gyamfi stated in his speech. The triumph that we commemorate today is the consequence of the prayers and spiritual direction of numerous devoted pastors and prophets, in addition to the laborious efforts on the ground.

He made it apparent that the NDC prepared both physically and spiritually, stressing that they spared no effort to secure victory.

“To prevent any unanticipated challenges, we made extensive preparations, including spiritual endeavors,” Gyamfi continued.

It also recognized the role of the clergy, particularly Prophet Owusu Bempah, who had foreseen John Dramani Mahama’s victory in the run-up to the election.

By saying, “Prophet Owusu Bempah has proven to be an indispensable and credible prophet,” Gyamfi said that the prophet’s exact forecast further confirmed his credibility.

“His prediction regarding Mahama’s triumph was not only correct, but it also played a big role in why we are celebrating today.”

Gyamfi stressed that although the NDC put in a lot of effort to appeal to people nationwide, the outcome was significantly influenced by the clergy’s spiritual support.

“We are grateful to the numerous pastors who contributed their time, resources, and prayers to help us,” he stated. Their efforts and sacrifices were crucial, and they are deserving of praise for supporting us during our journey.
