Nigerian and Bayern Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface’s move to AC Milan has officially been cancelled over his fitness issues after an extensive medical examination.

Victor who was on the verge of joining AC Milan in a season long loan move with an initial €5 million fee and an option to buy for €30 million package at the end of the season has returned to Germany after failing his medicals in Milano because of his right knee.

The decision forced AC Milan to return back into the transfer market in search for a new striker in order to reinforce their attacking department for the new Serie A campaign.

In an interview, Bayer Leverkusen’s director Rolfes stated that “if Boniface comes back to Leverkusen, the AC Milan deal will be over. That’s no big secret”.

“Renegotiating the deal? I don’t think that will happen” he told BILD

He also made it clear that Victor Boniface’s physical situations has improved significantly compared to the beginning.
