The family head, Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, and other relatives were also seen at the funeral with sorrowful expressions as they prepared to lay him to rest.
Daddy Lumba, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 60, had been at the centre of a complex family dispute over who had the authority to lead and fund his funeral arrangements.
Despite the legal challenges and family disagreements, the Accra High Court on December 12, 2025, ordered that Daddy Lumba’s funeral proceed as scheduled on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
