Ghanaian media personality Abro has made a bold statement amid the recent controversies surrounding the intended second funeral ceremony of late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba.
In a video shared on X on February 18, 2026, Abro, speaking at a press conference organised by a group identified as ‘Team Legal Wives’, challenged anyone who claims to have seen Lumba’s face during the first funeral ceremony to step forward.
He argued that, in his view, Daddy Lumba’s mortal remains were not buried at the time. Abro further declared that he would not hesitate to sacrifice himself if anyone could prove the singer was indeed laid to rest.

“I put my neck on the line for the Ashanti Kingdom if anyone can boldly claim that he or she saw Lumba’s face during his funeral ceremony. I am a Voltarian, but I mean business,” he said.
Abro further urged Ghanaians to turn out in large numbers to support Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa, during the forthcoming second funeral ceremony scheduled for March.
“We are pleading with Ghanaians, especially Team Legal Wives or Husbands, to show up. No matter where you find yourself, try your best to come. We want to prove to the world how a proper funeral ceremony is done,” he added.
