Hearts of Oak’s manager, Aboubakar Ouattara, has affirmed that his team will stop at nothing to claim the vital three points when they face Legon Cities at the University of Ghana Stadium today, January 3, 2025.

The Phobians are brimming with confidence after securing two consecutive wins against Accra Lions and Berekum Chelsea. Despite this, Ouattara is not letting his guard down and has urged his team to stay focused ahead of their match against the 2016 Ghana Premier League champions.

Speaking during a press conference on January 3, 2025, Ouattara assured fans that his team will give their all and pledged to secure all three points.

“We need the three points. Whatever we have to do, we are going to fight to get them. The fighting spirit is part of this game, and it’s in the blood of Accra Hearts of Oak. We need the three points,” he said.

Ouattara and Hearts of Oak will be counting on their chances against Legon Cities, who sit at the bottom of the league standings with just 11 points from 15 games. Legon Cities have won only once in their last five games, losing the other four.

Currently sixth in the Ghana Premier League, Hearts aim to strengthen under coach Aboubakar Ouattara and finish the season strongly.
