Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North, Sheila Bartels has thrown her full support behind the decision by the “Operation Recover All Loots” team to forgo allowances in the execution of their duties.

The ORAL team, chaired by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, held its first meeting on Wednesday and resolved to work without financial benefits.

In a post following the meeting, Ablakwa shared the team’s decision on Facebook: “The ORAL Team held its first meeting at 2 pm today and resolved to work gratis. None of our activities will come at a cost to the taxpayer. We continue to count on your support; let’s do this for God and Country.”

Reacting to this, Sheila Bartels expressed her admiration and called for similar measures across all branches of government.
