    Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, popularly often known as Abeiku Santana, was named among the many high tourism professionals chosen from 50 international locations to grace the eighth Swahili Worldwide Tourism Expo (SITE) in Tanzania.

    The expo, which occurred between October 11–13, 2024, on the Mlimani Metropolis Convention Centre in Dar es Salam introduced collectively tourism trade leaders, and hosted patrons, stakeholders, and exhibitors from internationally to discover Tanzania’s wealthy tourism choices.

    The occasion organised by the Ministry of Tourism by way of the Tanzania Vacationer Board (TTB) was on the theme “Discover Tanzania for a Lifetime Funding and Seamless Tourism Expertise.”

    Talking on the sidelines of the Expo, Abeiku Santana, CEO of Kaya Excursions, emphasised the significance of exploring the range of tourism in several African nations and experiencing new cultures.

    Abeiku Santana, who was honoured as one of many continent’s main tourism figures, expressed gratitude to the organisers for his impression within the tourism trade not solely in Ghana however throughout the continent.

    “It was an honour for me to be invited to this Expo, which has unravelled to me the cultural heritage of Tanzania and the way tourism is contributing to their financial development.

    “It’s one other studying curve for me as a tourism skilled as I look to contribute my quota to the expansion of tourism not solely in Ghana however throughout the continent,” stated Abeiku Santana.

    President of Zanzibar, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, who launched the eighth version of the Expo, lauded the participation of key tourism stakeholders from inside and outdoors, stressing the huge alternatives the expo would create.

    After the expo, Abeiku Santana led a delegation of tourism professionals to pay a courtesy name on former French Ambassador to Ghana, Madam Anne Sophie Avé at her residence in Dar es Salam, Tanzania.
