    Ghana Premier League cult hero Abednego Tetteh has mentioned that his biggest regret at Hearts of Oak is not having a significant impact on the club’s league triumph in 2021.

    He said he would have loved to play an integral role in the club’s success, asserting that his contribution was minimal.

    “We won the league, the FA Cup, and the President’s Cup, but my biggest regret is that my contribution was very small. That is the only pain I feel about Hearts of Oak,” he said on Linus Nartey TV on YouTube.

    Abednego Tetteh’s time with the Phobians was marked by a lack of playing time, which eventually led to his departure.

    However, he refused to blame head coach Samuel Boadu, claiming that an unnamed individual was responsible for his limited appearances.

    “There is no bad blood between me and coach Samuel Boadu because it was not his fault. Sometimes in training, they would select me as the striker, but I didn’t get picked on match days.”

    Abednego Tetteh joined Hearts of Oak on a free transfer in 2020 after terminating his contract with Indian side TRAU Football Club.
