Legendary Ghanaian footballer, Abedi Ayew Pele
Black Stars forward, Joseph Paintsil, has extolled legendary Ghanaian footballer Abedi Ayew Pele for his achievements.
He stated that considering Abedi Pele’s performances for the Black Stars, he stands out as the best Ghanaian footballer ever.
The LA Galaxy player noted that the legendary footballer’s exploits in club football also cement his legacy.
Speaking in an interview with GhOne TV, Paintsil asserted that Abedi Pele is the greatest Ghanaian footballer of all time, given his successes.
“Abedi Pele is the greatest Ghanaian footballer of all time,” he said.
Paintsil played a key role in LA Galaxy’s triumph in the 2023/2024 season, scoring goals and making assists to aid them.
Paintsil scored the opener to help LA Galaxy win the 2024 MLS Cup in a 2-1 win over New York Red Bulls on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
He hopes to join the Black Stars squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which resume in March 2025.
