Highly-rated attacking midfielder Abdul Rashid Fuseini opened his goal-scoring account for the season after netting a sensational goal in the Slovenian league game between NK Tabor Sezana and Drava Ptuj.

The former Ghana U17 player scored the opener for Tabor Sezana just three minutes into the game after winning the ball at the edge of the box before taking on a Drava defender before curling home with his left foot into the top corner.

Fuseini, who has been on the books of Sezana since 2023, starred as Sezana tore apart Drava in 35 minutes with four goals. Having opened the scoring, Dino Stancic doubled the advantage nine minutes later before Krasimir Tordorov and Jens Buss added two more goals before half time.

Drava pulled two back after the break but it was not enough for a fight back from the hosts.

Fuseini has been a regular member of Sezana this season, making nine appearances and netting a goal as they climbed to fourth place on the league table after 11 matches.

The attacking midfielder moved to Europe from Ghanaian club Accra Shooting Stars.
