Asante Kotoko’s winless run in the ongoing 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League continued at home on matchday 12 against Medeama SC.

The Porcupine Warriors fought from a two goal deficit in the first half to tie the game 2-2 draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi against the Tarkwa-based side.

Medeama took the early lead in the game in the 5th minute through Derrick Fordjour before Yussif Mubarik doubled the visitor’s lead from the penalty spot in the 18th minute.

Kotoko increased their momentum in the second half and it paid off in the 69th minute when Peter Amidu Acquah reacted sharply inside the box to power the ball into the net.

Captain Samba O’Neil got the equalizer in the 95th minute to snatch a point for the home side as they push for a win in 3 games.
