Sharif Shuaib is Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sharif Shuaib is Hearts of Oak goalkeeper

Sharif Shuaib believes Hearts of Oak are working hard to fix their issues in front of goal as they chase a much-needed win this weekend.

The goalkeeper knows how important it is for the team to start turning good performances into victories again.

The Phobians have found it tough in recent weeks, winning just one of their last five matches. They have also drawn six games this season, more than any other team in the league, showing how small mistakes in attack continue to cost them points.

Sharif spoke ahead of their clash with Vision FC at the University of Ghana Stadium. He shared that the players understand what is missing and are determined to turn things around.

“Yeah, I think we are on the right path, but then we are just not really clinical in the final third, but I think we are putting in the work so that we can change the narration of our story,” he told Hearts of Oak TV.

Hearts of Oak currently sit sixth with 18 points. With the title race getting tighter, Sharif knows that only a win will keep the club on track and closer to the teams above them.
