A goalkeeper has gone viral on social media after a video surfaced of him openly talking about living with six fingers on one hand, a rare condition that has forced him to improvise in ways most footballers never consider.
In the video, he explained the unusual but practical routine he must follow just to have a proper pair of gloves for training and matches.
“I have to buy two pairs of gloves, then I make a hike in my gloves. I take a finger from the other pair and have it sewn,” he said, holding up his modified kit.
Because traditional sports shops don’t offer goalkeeper gloves with six fingers, he relies on local craftsmanship to complete his gear.

“I got to the shoemaker to sew it,” he added.
What fascinated viewers even more was the functionality of the extra finger. When asked whether the sixth finger actually moves or is just there physically, he responded without hesitation:
“It moves, everything moves. It’s connected here.”
