Founder and General Overseer of the Prophetic Hill Church, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has predicted that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) will experience an internal rift in 2027, cautioning that the development could mirror the events that led to Alan Kyerematen’s exit from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking in an interview on Starr FM on November 21, 2025, he said that he had “prophetically” foreseen a major crack within the party, involving a highly influential member.
According to him, although the party would survive the incident, the individual at the centre of the disagreement would suffer significant consequences.
2027, there’s going to be a crack in the NDC…prophetically, there’s going to be a crack in the NDC but it’s not going to affect the person that will exit the party. And I’m speaking figuratively, “he said.
Prophet Gaisie explained that in his vision, key figures of the NDC were gathered in a meeting room when a prominent member angrily opened the door, slammed it behind him and refused to return.
“They were in a room… having a meeting and one person who was very influential didn’t understand himself. He opened the door, slammed the door and he didn’t come again,” he narrated.
The cleric warned that if the party fails to properly manage internal issues from 2027 onwards, the situation could escalate into a high-profile exit similar to Alan Kyerematen’s breakaway from the NPP.
