Funeral for late Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings to take place on Friday November 28, 2025 — family announces

The Agyeman-Rawlings family has released details of the final funeral arrangements for former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

In a statement issued in Accra, the family expressed deep appreciation to the public for the sympathy and support shown since her passing.

The announcement was delivered on behalf of the family by Oheneba Akwasi Abayie, Otumfuo Akomforehene.

The funeral will be held on Friday November 28, 2025, at the Independence Square in Accra.

The ceremony will begin at 6am with the arrival of the cortege.

The family noted that the attire for the funeral is black, and there will be no official cloth for the event.

The ceremony is open to the general public, and security and protocol officers will guide mourners to their seats.

The family also indicated that this will be the final funeral rites, and no other ceremony will be held after the burial service at Independence Square.

They encouraged mourners to come early and follow the instructions of the security and protocol teams to ensure an orderly process.
