Lawrencia Sarhene, Chief Executive Officer of Veronique Heights, has been celebrated as the Indigenous Tourism Investment Developer (Accommodation) for the Ashanti Region at the 25th National Tourism Awards.

The prestigious ceremony, organised by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), took place on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The event, themed “Celebrating Ghanaian Ingenuity and Excellence in Tourism: The Black Star Experience,” brought together leading creative icons, traditional rulers, and industry stakeholders to honour outstanding contributions to Ghana’s tourism sector.

This latest recognition adds to Veronique Heights’ growing reputation, following its 2024 accolade as the Best Service Apartment of the Year. Veronique Heights has distinguished itself as a premier destination in Kumasi, offering a blend of modern luxury and authentic Ghanaian hospitality.

Known for its spacious serviced apartments, serene environment, and personalised guest experiences, Veronique Heights has become a preferred choice for both business and leisure travellers seeking comfort and cultural immersion.

Sarhene expressed gratitude for the honour, noting that the award reflects the hard work and vision of her team. “I am deeply honoured to receive this award from the GTA. My heartfelt thanks go to the organisers, the selection committee, and everyone who has supported me along the way.

This recognition means a great deal to me, and I do not take it for granted. Thank you for believing in me and for celebrating this moment with me,” she said.

Veronique Heights continues to position itself as a leader in hospitality excellence. Its dedication to sustainability and community engagement further underscores its role as a model for indigenous tourism investment in Ghana.

The 25th National Tourism Awards reaffirmed the importance of celebrating institutions and individuals who drive creativity, cultural pride, and economic growth through tourism.

For Veronique Heights, the honour marks yet another milestone in its journey of excellence.
