Fast-rising Ghanaian musician Arathejay has broken his silence after becoming a topic for discussion online following a recent stage performance at PRESEC Legon.

It may be recalled that on October 31, 2025, the Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, Legon, held its much-anticipated annual “Torch and Bonfire Night,” which saw artistes like Black Sherif and Arathejay performing.

During Arathejay’s performance, some individuals in the crowd were seen hooting at the musician in an attempt to get him off the stage.

Speaking on the incident, Arathejay noted that he is not bothered by the students’ behaviour.

According to him, he would still perform in front of the same audience if given another opportunity.

“The boys who did that are still my boys. If they like, they should repeat the same thing during the next show, and I will still perform. When I was in PRESEC, I never got the chance to perform, so I was actually excited,” he said.

He additionally spoke about his experience during his time in Senior High School, revealing how he nearly got expelled.

“Something happened, and they wanted to expel me from school, so they took me to DC. Some of the teachers spoke for me, and that was how they asked me to stay with the counsellor,” he added.
