House Oversight Committee Republicans are accusing Democrats of leveraging the ongoing Epstein investigation to attack President Trump rather than seek justice for the disgraced mogul’s victims.
In a ten page internal memo obtained by Fox News Digital, GOP committee staff argued that Democrats intentionally misrepresented information collected in the Epstein report to create false narratives.
‘Unfortunately, during this investigation, Oversight Committee Democrats, led by Ranking Member Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), have intentionally mischaracterized witness testimony and selectively released information with targeted redactions in an effort to create another hoax involving President Trump,’ the memo read.
‘The Democrats have uncovered nothing new, have released no document not provided at the request of Republicans, and have only succeeded in reinforcing what the American people already knew: President Trump knew Jeffrey Epstein decades ago, President Trump ended the relationship with Epstein, and President Trump did not participate or know about the nature of Epstein’s evil,’ it continued.
A House vote on releasing files could take place as early as Tuesday as lawmakers move quickly this week.
Five Epstein survivors released a video message Sunday night calling on Congress to release the files.
‘It’s time to bring the secrets out of the shadows, it’s time to shine a light into the darkness,’ one survivor said.

House Republicans circulate plan to counter Dems ‘anti-Trump hoax’
Republicans in the House Oversight Committee have circulated a memo on Monday pushing back on the ‘anti-Trump narrative’ related to the Jeffrey Epstein files, the New York Post reported.
‘Unfortunately, during this investigation, Oversight Committee Democrats, led by Ranking Member Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), have intentionally mischaracterized witness testimony and selectively released information with targeted redactions in an effort to create another hoax involving President Trump,’ the memo stated.
‘After whipping their Democrat base into a frenzy with absurd promises of finally “getting” President Trump, Committee Democrats have now turned to concocting narratives from out-of-context documents, salacious innuendo, and outright lies regarding testimony and the evidentiary record to distract the American people from their own lack of ideas and leadership.’
Republicans argue that Democrats on the panel ‘have uncovered nothing new, have released no document not provided at the request of Republicans.’
The memo goes on the compare the Epstein investigation to ‘Russiagate, the Steele Dossier, and phony prosecutions before it.’
‘Committee Democrats have overpromised and underdelivered, and now they paw through every new document production looking for a single term: Trump,’ the memo stated.
John Oliver blasts Megyn Kelly over Epstein pedophile comments
The British-American comedian ripped into Megyn Kelly for doing ‘pedophile math’ when she claimed Jeffrey Epstein was ‘not into eight-year-olds but he liked the very young teen types.’
Oliver joined the chorus of condemnation during Sunday’s episode of his HBO show, Last Week Tonight, after playing the clip of Kelly saying she knows ‘somebody very very close’ to Epstein’s case who claimed he ‘was not a pedophile.’
‘That clip starts with ‘I know somebody who’s super in the middle of all the Epstein s***’ and it somehow gets sketchier from there,’ Oliver said as the audience laughed.
‘If I’m understanding you here – and I am definitely not – “Epstein wasn’t into eight-year-olds, he was just into very young teens…”
‘You felt that this was an important numerical distinction to bring up to your ‘yes-anding’ friend here,’ Oliver added, referring to the guest on Kelly’s show who appeared to nod along to her spiel about the convicted sex offender.
‘Look, I’m clearly no stranger to sharing upsetting numbers to my audience, but please do kill me if I ever start doing pedophile math.’
House Oversight Committee member Representative Suhas Subramanyam told The Mail on Sunday that ‘brave survivors of Epstein’ had given testimony about the former Duke of York and ‘other powerful men.’
‘We have reason to believe that there are others who may have been trafficked to Andrew,’ he said.
‘Many of the survivors came to Capitol Hill and we spoke to them. They’ve been so courageous and gave us very valuable information as far as where to look.’
Here’s a closer look at all the individuals linked to the Epstein scandal who have died by suicide.
Jeffrey Epstein was instructed to ‘studiously’ avoid the former Duke of York for the sake of his own reputation, newly released documents reveal.
The financier was warned it was ‘disastrous’ for him to be associated with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as he sought to rebuild his reputation in the years after his 2008 conviction, when he was jailed for 13 months.
He was also advised to urgently enlist a team of ‘Israeli experts’ to clean up internet search results which threw up ‘unflattering stories’ linking him ‘to pedophilia’ and ‘to Prince Andrew.’
Former Harvard President appeared to email Epstein about women
The newly released Jeffrey Epstein emails showed that former treasury secretary and Harvard University president Larry Summers kept a close relationship with the disgraced financier.
In 2019, Summers was discussing interactions he had with an unnamed woman, writing to Epstein that ‘I said what are you up to. She said “I’m busy.’ I said awfully coy u are.’
Summers went on to say, ‘I dint [sic] want to be in a gift giving competition while being the friend without benefits.’
Summers has since issued a statement saying he has ‘great regrets in my life.’
‘As I have said before, my association with Jeffrey Epstein was a major error of judgement,’ the statement said.
Lawmakers to host Tuesday press conference with Epstein victims
Representatives Ro Khanna, Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene will host a joint press conference with Jeffrey Epstein victims on Tuesday at 9am ET, The Hill reported.
They will host the press conference alongside ‘survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse,’ and will ‘discuss next steps for Rep. Khanna and Rep. Massie’s bipartisan bill, the Epstein Files Transparency Act.’
MAGA supporters back Trump’s call to release Epstein files
MAGA supporters have backed Donald Trump’s call on Republicans to vote to release the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Andrew Kolvet, a Turning Point USA spokesperson and executive producer of the Charlie Kirk Show, wrote on X, ‘Good! Let’s expose everything, bring justice, expose the dark deeds, and move on stronger.’
He added, ‘Now that President Trump has come out in favor of releasing the Epstein Files, expect Democrats to once again be against it.’
Author and activist Jack Posobiec shared Trump’s statement, writing, ‘GET THE WORD OUT.’
Senate Majority Leader considering Epstein vote
Senate Majority Leader John Thune is weighing his options on scheduling a vote to release the Jeffrey Epstein files, a source told CNN.
The House is expected to vote on the matter on Tuesday, and Thune will not announce anything until after that vote, according to the source.
In September, Thune told CNN: ‘I’m sure the Democrats are interested in it. I don’t know. I’m not sure what that achieves. I don’t know what their bill does over there, but I think that the Justice Department is releasing a lot of that information and I encourage them to be as transparent as possible.’
Donald Trump flew on Epstein’s jet seven times
Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were friends in the 1990s, and flight logs released during Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial showed the president flew on the disgraced financier’s private jet seven times.
Trump flew on Epstein’s jet four times in 1993; once in 1994; once in 1995; and once in 1997.
The flights were between Palm Beach and New York, with a stop in Washington, DC.
Trump has acknowledged riding on the jet, but insisted he has never been to Epstein’s private island.
Democrat congressman Jamie Raskin told MSNBC that the Trump administration is engaging in cover up of the Epstein files.
‘This is like a deadly serious issue for the survivors, for the victims of this massive event. They want to know the truth. They have a right to truth and justice, as well as for others who haven’t even come forward yet,’ he said.
Raskin accused several Trump administration officials of covering up the files and called for their release.
‘This was a massive child sex abuse and trafficking ring, which was covered up a regionally by Alex Acosta, who later gets rewarded with an appointment to the Trump cabinet as secretary of labor, where Trump could keep a close eye on him,’ he said.
‘The cover up continued in the first Trump administration. And it continues to this very day.
‘The same people who were pretending to call for immediate release of the whole Epstein file, like Kash Patel, like Pam Bondi, are now totally in league with Donald Trump, in trying to suppress the truth.’
Trump snaps at reporter while defending Tucker Carlson’s controversial interview with Nick Fuentes
Donald Trump snapped at a reporter on Sunday evening who pressed him for defending Tucker Carlson following his controversial interview with Nick Fuentes.
Trump rushed to defend the former Fox News host and even offered friendly remarks about Fuentes, whom the president dined with over Thanksgiving in November 2022 at Mar-a-Lago.
‘Well, I found [Tucker] to be good. I mean, he said good things about me over the years. I think he’s good. We’ve had some good interviews,’ Trump said.
The president then paused his remarks after being interrupted by a reporter leading to a sudden outburst: ‘Will you let me finish my statement? You are the worst! You’re with Bloomberg, right? You are the worst! I don’t know why they even have you.’
Trump resumed his statement defending Tucker by adding, ‘You can’t tell him who to interview. I mean, if he wants to interview Nick Fuentes, I don’t know much about him, but if he wants to do it, get the word out. People have to decide. Ultimately, people have to decide.’
A reporter followed-up by asking Trump about his dinner with Fuentes in 2022. The president noted that he ‘didn’t know he was coming’ because he came along with rapper Kanye West.
House set for Epstein files vote on Tuesday
The House of Representatives is expected to vote on releasing the complete files from the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation.
The vote could be an unlikely moment of bipartisanship, following Donald Trump’s call on Republicans to pass the measure.
After the House, the bill would go to the Senate, where leadership has not made a statement on whether they will take up the measure.
If passed by the House and Senate, the bill would be sent to Trump’s desk. He has not stated whether he will sign the bill.
Senate leadership non-committal on Epstein files vote
Republican senate leadership has not committed to holding a vote on releasing the Epstein files if the measure passes in the House this week.
‘If it passes the House, we’ll see what it says. We all want accountability and transparency. But to me, this is not about truth. It’s not about justice,’ Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso told NBC News on Sunday.
‘This is about an attempt by the Democrats to make President Trump a lame-duck president. And I’m not going to aid and abet them in their efforts to do that.’
Trump to address affordability at McDonald’s summit
Donald Trump will address the affordability crisis during his remarks at the McDonald’s Impact Summit today, sources told Axios.
‘The Biden administration started the affordability crisis, but President Trump will end it so all Americans can achieve economic prosperity,’ a White House official said.
The fast food chain’s summit is set to be a bipartisan event with New York Governor Kathy Hochul, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, former ambassador and Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel and California congressman Pete Aguilar said to be in attendance.
A key message at the summit will be that value and affordability are ‘so important to consumers and elected officials [that] our franchisees and company are co-investing to bring extra value and affordability to our customers,’ according to the outlet.
Former VP Mike Pence calls for the release of the Epstein files: ‘Let justice be served’
Mike Pence called for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files during an interview with Sky News.
‘I was hopeful that the president would join those of us that have called for the full release of all the Epstein files,’ he said.
‘Let justice be served,’ Pence added, noting that ‘people a lot closer to’ Trump would had to be asked if he had something to hide in the files.
‘I know of no reason from our time together in the White House why all these files should not be released,’ Pence said.
Ex-Republican Joe Walsh gives advice to Trump ‘traitor’ MTG
Former Republican congressman Joe Walsh gave Marjorie Taylor Greene some advice after Donald Trump called her a traitor.
‘Quick, initial take on 2mtgreenee: As a onetime divisive right-wing political asshole, I publicly came out against Trump & stopped being a divisive asshole over 7yrs ago,’ Walsh wrote on X.
‘Since then, I’ve spent every day these past 7yrs proving the sincerity of my conversion, and doing all I can to defeat Trump/Trumpism. MTG will have to walk down this same road.
‘I appreciate her pledging to no longer be a divisive a**hole, but now she’s gotta prove it. And btw, does she still support Trump?’
Speaker Johnson says Trump has ‘nothing to hide’
House Speaker Mike Johnson insisted that Democrats are using the Epstein files to go after Donald Trump, and the vote this week will ‘take that weapon out of their hand.’
‘They’re doing this to go after President Trump on this theory that he has something to do with it. He does not,’ Johnson told Fox News.
He said that Democrats are using Epstein as ‘their entire game plan’ and the vote this week will ‘take that weapon out of their hand.’
‘Let’s just get this done and move on. There’s nothing to hide,’ Johnson said.
‘President Trump has clean hands. He’s not worried about. I talk to him all the time; he has nothing to do with this. He’s frustrated that they’re turning it into a political issue, and it’s not surprising, because the Democrats have nothing else to talk about.’
The Federal Aviation Administration is lifting all restrictions on commercial flights that were imposed at 40 major airports during the nation’s longest government shutdown.
‘I want to thank the FAA’s dedicated safety team for keeping our skies secure during the longest government shutdown in our nation’s history and the country’s patience for putting safety first,’ Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said in a statement.
‘Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, controllers have returned to their posts and normal operations can resume.
‘Now we can refocus our efforts on surging controller hiring and building the brand new, state-of-the-art air traffic control system the American people deserve.’
Gavin Newsom trolls Trump over Epstein connection
California Governor Gavin Newsom has relentlessly trolled the White House over the weekend after the House released a trove of Epstein Files.
The documents revealed that the disgraced financier had repeatedly discussed Donald Trump for years.
On Monday morning, Newsom replied to a post on X from the White House, featuring a picture of the president and first lady alongside a photo of Trump and Epstein.
Donald Trump’s schedule today
Here is Donald Trump’s public schedule for Monday.

Will the House vote lead to release of all Epstein files?
Donald Trump urged Republicans to release the files in the Jeffrey Epstein case as the House is set to vote on the matter on Tuesday.
The vote comes as Kentucky Republican Thomas Massie and California Democrat Ro Khanna introduced a discharge petition in July to bypass House leadership and force a floor vote.
Massie said he is aiming for a veto-proof majority with 100 or more Republican votes in favor.
The bill would force the Justice Department to release all files and communications related to Epstein, as well as any information about the investigation into his death in federal prison.
Information about Epstein´s victims or ongoing federal investigations would be allowed to be redacted.
Lawmakers who support the bill have been predicting a big win in the House this week with a ‘deluge of Republicans’ voting for it, bucking the GOP leadership and the president.
PICTURED: Times Square billboard highlights Epstein emails about Trump
A billboard in Times Square on Monday highlighted Jeffrey Epstein’s comment about Donald Trump that ‘of course he knew about the girls.’
The disgraced pedophile billionaire claimed that the President had often visited his home in Palm Beach, in the email sent to himself in February 2019.
‘[REDACTED] worked at Mar-a-Lago. Trump knew of it, and came to my house many times during that period,’ Epstein wrote, six months before he was found hanged at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
‘He never got a massage,’ the financier said.
Paris Hilton breaks her science amid claims Ghislaine Maxwell tried to recruit her
Paris Hilton has addressed reports Ghislaine Maxwell tried to recruit her for Jeffrey Epstein after it was claimed she thought the heiress would be ‘perfect for him.’
The claims about Maxwell’s plans for Hilton were made by a former friend of the British socialite in 2020.
Christopher Mason said Maxwell stopped in her tracks and said ‘oh my god’ when she saw a young Hilton at a party.
Maxwell said she would be ‘perfect for Jeffrey’ and told a friend: ‘Can you introduce us?’
Thousands of pages of material from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate have been made public, revealing how the disgraced financier repeatedly discussed Donald Trump in private correspondence dating from 2011 to 2019.
The content spans years before and during Trump’s presidency and includes claims, speculation, and personal remarks that Epstein shared with associates, journalists, and his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.
In a correspondence with a contact in 2018, while Trump was facing scrutiny from politicians, Epstein wrote: ‘They’re really just trying to take down Trump and doing whatever they can to do that!’
He then added: ‘Its wild, because i am the one able to take him down.’ In another 2018 conversation, Epstein describes Trump as ‘borderline insane.’
Megyn Kelly was torched during Saturday Night Live’s cold open yesterday after she seemingly attempted to justify Jeffrey Epstein’s actions by suggesting he was into the ‘barely legal type’ and was not a pedophile.
The skit resembled a White House press conference, where an SNL cast member portrayed White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt answering questions from reporters about President Donald Trump’s connection to Jefferey Epstein.
As the bit continued to poke fun at the irony of several situations involving the president, the spoof Trump eventually took the place of the secretary to answer questions himself.
After the Trump impersonator answered another question about his relationship with Epstein, he defended himself and noted Kelly’s remarks: ‘I thought Megyn Kelly made a terrific point this week, she said Epstein’s not a pedophile.
‘Terrific thing to just say out of nowhere. Great Job Megyn, we love Megyn, they should put her back on TV. Legalize Megyn!’
The in-studio audience erupted with laughter at the sarcastic remarks, which ended shortly after a few more jokes were made.
Donald Trump told Republicans to vote for the release of files pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein in a Sunday Truth Social post.
He made the shocking U turn shortly after landing at Joint Base Andrews on Sunday following a weekend in Florida. Trump claimed he had ‘nothing to hide’ while insisting the entire saga was a ‘hoax.’
‘House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files,’ he posted on Truth Social.
‘We have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party.’
Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has said her life is in danger after she publicly split with the president over the Epstein files.
In a blistering post on Truth Social, the president branded her ‘a ranting lunatic’ and ‘Marjorie Traitor Greene’, accusing her of betraying the Republican Party by ‘turning Left.’
Greene said on Saturday that Trump’s attack had triggered a wave of threats against her, insisting she was not a traitor and calling his comments ‘hurtful.’
‘Those are the types of words that can radicalize people against me and put my life in danger,’ Greene said.
But Trump doubled down on Sunday, dismissing her warning and telling reporters he did not believe anyone was targeting her.
Epstein victims call on Congress to release sex trafficking investigation files
Five Jeffrey Epstein survivors released a video on Sunday urging Congress to release all of the sex trafficking investigation files ahead of their vote this week.
In the clip, published by World Without Exploitation, the women share photos of their younger selves when they met Epstein.
‘This was me when I met Jeffrey Epstein,’ one victim said. ‘I’ve suffered so much pain,’ said another.
‘It’s time to bring the secrets out of the shadows, it’s time to shine a light into the darkness,’ one victim said.
Rep. Thomas Massie calls Trump’s Epstein probe a ‘smokescreen’
Representative Thomas Massie called Donald Trump’s efforts to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s connections to top Democrats a ‘smokescreen’ to prevent the release of the files.
‘If they have ongoing investigations in certain areas, those documents can’t be released,’ Massie told ABC News on Sunday.
‘So this might be a big smokescreen, these investigations, to open a bunch of them as a last-ditch effort to prevent the release of the Epstein files.’
Massie also slammed the president for only linking the investigation to Democrats and questioned why he wants to prevent the release of the files.
‘I mean, it is extraordinary to hear him demand an investigation and only mention Democrats, only mention his political opponents, but you’re saying he doesn’t really, may not really, even want any investigation,’ he said.
‘He wants to prevent the release. Why does he want to prevent this? What is he afraid of?’
