Entertainment analyst Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has expressed strong confidence in KKD’s ability to excel in his new role as Ghana’s Special Envoy to the Caribbean.

Speaking on Starr Showbiz with Feeling Daddy on Starr 103.5 FM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, Arnold, who is also the board chairman of the Ghana Music Awards USA, described KKD (Kwasi Kyei Darwkah) as a “luminary” in the media and entertainment industry. He highlighted KKD’s extensive experience managing record labels and radio and television stations.

“KKD has managed brands, projects, and businesses. He even managed Megastar at one point, one of the biggest record labels, and has successfully overseen radio and TV stations,” Arnold said. “He is a champion of our industry and of tourism, and I know he will excel in this appointment.”

Arnold acknowledged that some public commentary has focused on KKD’s past indiscretions but emphasised that his professional achievements are what matter most. “People are not analysing his achievements. KKD has done well for himself in this space, and I believe he will do well as Special Envoy,” he added.

The appointment is widely viewed as a strategic move to strengthen Ghana’s cultural and entertainment presence in the Caribbean, leveraging KKD’s industry expertise to foster tourism and creative collaborations.
