There are also plans for a senior member of the technical team to accompany the player to his home base in France after he is discharged from the Toyota Memorial Hospital, where the surgery took place.

The Ghana Football Association is grateful to everyone who supported them in this journey. They are particularly grateful to the Black Stars management and the technical team for their support during these last few days, and will continue to count on their support during the rehabilitation process in their quest to ensure that the player returns to full fitness.
