There is no shortcut to responsible economic management – Ato Forson
“Ghana’s economy is breathing again, stronger, steadier and full of promise.
This is not just a recovery; it is a reset. It is the story of a nation that refused to stay down.
“This is a rebirth from the ashes of a daunting inheritance; a heavy burden laid
upon us by the previous administration”, he noted.
Dr Forson pointed out the sacrifices and resilience of ordinary Ghanaians, whose spirit has been tested by years of hardship, impoverishment and uncertainty.
“It is the story of Ghanaians who endured hardship with dignity and held on to hope when the road was rough,” he noted.
The finance minister stressed that fiscal discipline is the backbone of national progress.
