Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken to social media with a deeply emotional post, accusing her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of orchestrating the continued illegal detention of her brother, Sammy West, and subjecting her to physical and psychological abuse.

In a post shared online, Regina expressed despair over what she described as her brother’s unjust incarceration.

Adding that he was arrested for fighting for his baby sister, after allegedly intervening in domestic disputes involving the actress and her husband.

The actress alleged that there was no legal case against her brother and lamented that the police were acting under the influence of power and money.

“I give up! What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-laws would always beat her up? I actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect, but shame on you all !!! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way, do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up, and raped in the house. Only then will my brother return. Because by law, there is no tangible case against Sammywest! Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of Nigeria; that’s what this means. We lost, or rather I lost!” She wrote

The actress also addressed online critics who had mocked her past displays of luxury, saying no one ever shows their pain in public for fear of ridicule.

Regina’s post has since sparked widespread reactions across social media, with fans and fellow actors calling for an investigation into her claims and demanding the immediate release of her brother.
