Ken Ohene Agyapong, aspiring flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to Adidome, the capital of the South Tongu District. Agyapong’s bold declaration that the Volta Region, alongside five other northern regions and the Accra Plains, can feed the entire African continent has resonated deeply with locals.
King Daviid Norgbey, a prominent figure in the region, echoed widespread support for Agyapong’s agricultural ambitions during an appearance on GBC Volta Star Radio’s morning show with Tony Mark-Boye. “There is substantial merit in Ken’s claims,” Norgbey emphasized. “We should heed his words and, regardless of whether he becomes the flagbearer or president, pursue this vision in Ghana’s best interest.”
