Filmmaker and devout member of the Believers Worship Centre, LilWin, has stated that he will not tolerate anyone speaking ill of Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, the founder of the church.
In an interview with Sean City, LilWin described Adom Kyei Duah as someone he sees as a father, who teaches and guides him in the ways of God.
He explained that his defence of the man of God comes as naturally as any child would protect their father from disrespect.

“If you speak against my father, you won’t like my reaction. Some people are blessed to have both a biological and a spiritual father, and that’s how I see things. Our father, Adom Kyei Duah of the Philadelphia Movement, guides us and shows us the way of God. When you truly love and respect someone, it’s only natural to stand up for them. So, if anyone disrespects my father or my leader, I can’t sit back and do nothing. There’s no way I’ll allow that,” he said.
LilWin reacted to claims that he was taking issues surrounding Adom Kyei Duah too personally, especially considering that he joined the church not too long ago, but the filmmaker dismissed those criticisms, saying his commitment has nothing to do with how long he has been a member.
The actor also addressed comments that suggested that he had previously been associated with different pastors.
He clarified that in the past, his appearances with pastors were purely work-related.
“At that time, I was simply doing my job. If you invited me to your program, I charged a fee, and once you paid, I showed up. I have attended several churches: Methodist, Assemblies, Roman Catholic, and others, before I joined Believers Worship Centre. I believe that’s the church that aligns with my faith,” he added.
