Barcelona winger, Raphinha has reacted to his omission from the FIFPro Men’s World XI with a series of cryptic Instagram stories highlighting his achievements in the 2024/25 season.
The 2025 FIFPro World XI, announced on Monday, November 3, 2025, featured Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Virgil van Dijk, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, Pedri, Ousmane Dembélé, Kylian Mbappé, and Lamine Yamal.
But there was no place for Raphinha, despite his standout performances for Barcelona throughout the 2024/25 campaign.
Less than a day after the announcement, the Brazilian winger took to Instagram, sharing slides of his La Liga Player of the Season award, Man of the Match honors, trophies, and impressive goals-and-assists stats, all captioned with laughing emojis.
His message was clear, a defiant reminder of his stellar season.

Raphinha played a vital role for Barcelona in 2024/25, delivering key goals and assists in big matches and consistently ranking among the team’s top performers.
He led the team to win multiple trophies, including the La Liga, Copa Del Rey, and the Supercopa de España.
As such, many fans felt his absence from the World XI was undeserved, pointing to his decisive contributions and strong match ratings across all competitions.
Though he never mentioned the FIFPro award directly, fans believe the tone of Raphinha’s post said it all.
