As part of their 40th anniversary celebration, the Presec Odadeɛ 1990 Year Group has donated six brand-new projectors to their alma mater, Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon.

The presentation took place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, during the group’s anniversary activities held at the Presec Odadeɛ ’90 Alumni Center.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the school, Assistant Headmistress Madam Mercy Amoah expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the old students for their thoughtful gesture.

“One of the proud moments of every institution is when its old students come together to give back to the school. When you enter an institution as a child, you are proud to be a student of that school. However, when you turn out well and return to support it, the school becomes proud of you,” she said.

Madam Amoah praised the 1990 Year Group for setting a fine example for others to emulate.

“We are so proud of the ’90 group today for donating these projectors that will enhance the learning experience of our students. We are proud as an institution because at PRESEC, we set the pace for others,” she added.

The donation formed part of a larger weekend of celebrations that also featured a five-a-side soccer tournament among the 1990 Year Groups of Opoku Ware School (OWASS), Prempeh College, Achimota School, Accra Academy, and Adisadel College.

Accra Academy emerged champions of the maiden edition, but organisers have promised that the event will become an annual tradition, with Achimota School set to host the next edition. Corporate sponsors are also expected to come on board to support future tournaments.
