There is a new turn in the ongoing family feud surrounding the final funeral rites of legendary Ghanaian highlife musician, Daddy Lumba, as his sister, Ernestina Fosuh, and the family head, Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu were spotted sharing a cheek kiss after meeting with Otumfuo’s Saamanhene at the Manhyia Palace earlier today, Monday, November 3, 2025.

Both the Abusuapanin and Ernestina Fosuh arrived at Manhyia Palace clad in black, symbolizing mourning and seriousness, to meet the Saamanhene for the first time since the tension began.

After the meeting, the two family members appeared in high spirits, with both confirming to the media that all is well.

Speaking in an interview after the meeting, Ernestina Fosuh revealed that the Saamanhene had directed them to return home as a family, sit together, and resolve all issues before appearing again at the palace on Friday, November 7, 2025.

She further added that they were even planning to have their first reconciliation meeting immediately after returning home from Manhyia.

In another video that has since gone viral on social media, the once-feuding relatives were seen smiling and exchanging friendly gestures, with the Abusuapanin, who also happens to be Ernestina’s uncle,  giving her a gentle peg on the cheek to  signify reconciliation and forgiveness.

While details of the upcoming family meeting remain private, observers are hopeful that this new wave of unity will pave the way for the successful organization of the final funeral rites of the late music icon.
