Ghanaian businessman and real estate mogul Freedom Jacob Caesar, also known as Cheddar, was spotted sharing insights on business and investment during a brief street interview with The Venture Room, a finance and entrepreneurship platform in the United States.

In the viral video, Cheddar, born Nana Kwame Bediako, was asked what advice he would give to aspiring entrepreneurs.

He encouraged them to focus on creating value rather than merely chasing wealth.

“Everybody wants to be rich and successful, but first of all, you need to see how you can add value to people and society. By that, you’ll be significantly recognised,” he said.

When asked about his line of work, he replied succinctly, “Real estate,” describing it as “a lucrative business,” but declined to disclose how much he has earned from it.

‘Invest in assets, not banks’ – Nana Kwame Bediako opines

Offering investment advice, the former presidential aspirant in 2024 general elections urged individuals to focus on acquiring assets rather than relying solely on traditional banking systems.

“Put your money in assets. Sometimes it’s better than the bank,” he advised.

Cheddar also highlighted strategic investment opportunities across continents, recommending Africa as the best destination for industrial ventures.

“If you want to invest in industry, I would say that Africa has the most critical minerals, petrochemicals, and all of that to invest in the industrial sector. If you want to invest in hotels, the best place is Europe because they have high tourism. If you want to invest in low-income housing, then it is Africa,” he explained.
