Today in Accra, Ghana, the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF) hosted an extraordinary milestone: the 5,000 Entrepreneurs March, the world’s largest entrepreneurship walk, a groundbreaking, record-setting celebration of innovation, job creation, and shared prosperity.

This historic march unites 5,000 entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, policymakers, and change-makers from across Africa and around the world under one banner: empowering a sustainable future through entrepreneurship.

The march celebrates youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, equality, access to education, and digital transformation, marking Ghana as a global hub for entrepreneurship and collaboration.

Dr. Joy Smart Francis, Executive Director of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival, described the event as “a walk of purpose, progress, prosperity, and peace, where every step represents the courage, creativity, and collaboration that build nations, transform economies, and fosters peace.”

The 5,000 Entrepreneurs March opens the month-long activities leading to the Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2025, scheduled for November 21–23, 2025 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, and Resorts, Accra. The Festival will gather over 10,000 participants and millions online for conferences, exhibitions, deal rooms, showcase of art, culture, music, fashion, and global partnerships.
