    American singer and songwriter Ciara Princess Wilson, popularly known as Ciara, has praised the impressive transformation of Lagos, Nigeria.

    Speaking about her experience during a recent visit, the award-winning artist expressed joy at being back in Lagos, noting that the city’s cleaner, more developed look compared to her previous visits.

    When asked if it was her first time in the city, Ciara clarified that she had visited before, replying, “No, this is not my first time, I know about Lagos and I’m so happy to be here, I’m really glad.”

    The singer, who has toured several African countries over the years, went on to commend the city’s remarkable progress.

    According to her, during her previous visits, whenever she landed, she was used to seeing dirty roads; however, they’re all clean and changed now.

    Her remarks have drawn mixed reactions from internet users, with many Nigerians expressing pride in the city’s development and appreciating her recognition of the changes.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Fine girl, thank you …Lagos is really trying, but did you go to Ikorodu???”

    “That’s true if you drive from the airport, then the Third Mainland Bridge all the way to Ikoyi.“

    “The more you look, the more you see! Keep looking, you will see that thing you want to see in Lagos!! Abi nor be Lagos again“

    “At least Lagos is still be our small London. If she do tour reach Ogun state”
