Ghanaian winger Fatawu Issahaku premiered a one-hour documentary detailing his journey back from a career-threatening injury on October 29, 2025.

Issahaku had spent eight months on the sidelines before returning to full fitness at the start of the 2025/26 season.

In the documentary, Issahaku took fans through the lonely moments of rehabilitation and his first steps back on the pitch, as he battled against the odds to return even stronger.

The Leicester City forward also shared how he spent the summer in his hometown of Tamale, where he organised a youth football tournament to support emerging talent from the north.

At the end of the documentary screening at the Weller Lounge in England, the winger engaged in a question-and-answer session with fans before signing autographs.

The Ghanaian attacker used the opportunity to encourage footballers not to be discouraged when they suffer an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.

“I just see myself as someone who plays for the team, and that makes me happy. I appreciate all the support the team has given me. Anyone who has an ACL injury should not feel bad, it makes you stronger and a better person,” he said.

The ever-smiling forward was met with cheers and chants as fans sang his name in appreciation of his love for the club.
