Black Stars defender, Mohammed Salisu was on the score sheet as AS Monaco secured a crucial home victory over Toulouse in the ongoing 2025/2026 French League One.

AS Monaco defeated Toulouse 1-0 to end their winless streak at the Stade Louis II on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Monaco couldn’t find a way through in their midweek stalemate with Tottenham Hotspur, but took less than three minutes to do so when a corner was played back to Kassoum Ouattara, and his cross was powered in by the head of Mohammed Salisu.

Despite a very intense pressure from Toulouse, Mohammed Salisu’s 3rd minute strike was the only goal in the game as AS Monaco managed to secure all three points at home.

The victory now takes AS Monaco to the 4th position on the League One table with 17 points after 9 games.
