    The British High Commissioner to Ghana, His Excellency Christian Rogg, paid a working visit to the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, 8th October 2025.

    The visit formed part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and Ghana in the area of sports infrastructure and development.

    Christian Rogg was accompanied by R. Wilson, Communications Manager at the British High Commission.

    They were received by the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) Yaw Ampofo Ankrah and members of the management team, including Veronica Commey, Deputy Director (Technical); Yaw Gyamfi Kusi Awere, Chief Operating Officer; Charles Amofa, Head of Public Relations; and Samuel Tsikata, Head of Security.

    During the tour, the Commissioner inspected key sections of the stadium, including the pitch, stands, and media areas, while commending the NSA for its dedication to improving sports infrastructure across the country.

    The visit concluded with an exchange of souvenirs, including a customized Black Stars jersey presented to the High Commissioner.

    The NSA expressed appreciation for the UK’s continued support towards sports development in Ghana and looked forward to deeper collaboration in facility management and youth sports initiatives.
