According to the facts of the charge sheet sighted by GhanaWeb and statement by the Deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Srem Sai, he [Chairman Wontumi] failed to provide details of Kwame Antwi’s identity.
Antwi is said to be a co-shareholder and co-director of Akonta Mining.

“The 2nd Accused Person (A2), KWAME ANTWI, is at large. He is listed as the other shareholder and other director of A3. When asked about the whereabouts of his co-shareholder and co-director (A2), Al states in both his police charge statement and investigative caution statement that he never saw or heard of him (A2) since 2010 after they both completed the company registration and other registration formalities,” portions of the statement read.
Additionally, the statement suggested that Kwame Antwi could be a fictitious name created for the company, adding that further investigations are underway to establish his existence and true identity.
