    A Nigerian mother has shared a hilarious and relatable story about how her young son’s knack for breaking TVs has turned her into a full-time TV bodyguard.

    In a post shared on X (Twitter) that has since amused many online, she revealed that her family is currently on their third television set this year, thanks to her energetic little boy.

    According to her, the first two were easily replaced by her husband, but the third came with a twist.

    Her husband refused to replace it and only agreed to when she contributed half the price of the new TV set.

    Now fully invested in the safety of the current screen, she admits to guarding it like her life depends on it.

    Adding that she even instructed the installer to mount the new TV very high up on the wall aesthetics aside.

    Her tweet read;

    “Currently on our third TV this year, courtesy of my son. For the first two, I didn’t stress much because my husband replaced them quickly. But this last one? Baba no gree o, we split the bill 50-50. Guess who’s now guarding the TV with her life? I am usually big on aesthetics, but when they were mounting it, I told the artisan to take it very high. If the house is too quiet, I run to check what’s happening. If I hear any noise, I teleport there immediately. God no go shame us.”

    Her post has since gone viral, striking a chord with fellow parents who know the struggles of keeping kids away from electronic devices.
