This clarification comes amid the fallout from the video, which led to the removal of Assistant Headmaster Charles Akwasi Aidoo by the Ghana Education Service.

The incident has sparked a debate on responsibility and consent. A Member of Parliament, Theophilus Dominic VonDee, has publicly stated that the video evidence suggests a mutually agreed-upon encounter, not coercion. Conversely, a former assistant headmaster of the school has made disparaging remarks about the student’s character, alleging she smokes marijuana and had been disciplined previously.
